Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in hotel event sales or event planning
  • Proficiency with computer systems including event management software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently

Job Qualifications

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of hotel event sales or event planning or comparable experience preferred
  • Proficient in general computer knowledge
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized
  • Able to handle a fast-paced environment effectively
  • Prefer two years of hotel experience or completion of an Event Management trainee program
  • Preferred candidate has completed PSS or equivalent training

Job Duties

  • Serve as liaison between meeting planners and hotel staff
  • Administer sale agreements detailing food, beverage and A/V needs
  • Manage room blocks and pick up schedules
  • Oversee billing instructions and conduct final reviews
  • Act as on-site contact to ensure smooth execution of all events
  • Coordinate multiple events efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain detailed and organized event documentation
