The Event Planning Manager will serve as a crucial liaison between the Sales department, clients, and hotel staff to guarantee seamless execution of various events. This role demands a professional who can manage comprehensive event details including sales agreements, food and beverage requirements, and audio/visual needs. Event Planning Managers are responsible for coordinating site tours and tastings, overseeing room block management, and tracking event pick-up to ensure all logistical elements align perfectly with client expectations. Beyond pre-event preparations, the role requires on-site presence to manage and facilitate event success, providing solutions and adjustments as necessary. Post-event duties include client follow-up and final billing reviews to close out each function efficiently and satisfactorily. This position calls for strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities to liaise effectively among cross-functional teams and clients.

Job Requirements

  • minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 2 years of hotel event sales or event planning experience
  • proficiency in computer systems relevant to the hospitality industry
  • strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environment
  • availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications
