Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of hotel sales experience
  • At least 1 year of food and beverage experience
  • Knowledge of negotiation and contract interpretation
  • Business communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with hospitality sales CRM systems
  • Ability to present professionally
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to handle pressure
  • Must be able to work in person in Cambridge, MA

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of hotel sales experience
  • 1-year food and beverage experience
  • Strong understanding of negotiation and contract interpretation
  • Developed business communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and hospitality sales CRM systems
  • Present professional appearance and confidence
  • Effective communication with public and team members
  • Strong time management and ability to work under pressure

Job Duties

  • Act as liaison between customers and hotel sales team during events
  • Provide direction and supervision for meetings and banquet functions
  • Address customer issues and suggest alternatives during events
  • Manage logistics of group room blocks, food and beverage, meeting spaces, and billing
  • Serve group and catering customers proactively
  • Facilitate re-booking of group business for future dates
  • Demonstrate upselling skills to maximize profit
