Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of hotel sales experience
- At least 1 year of food and beverage experience
- Knowledge of negotiation and contract interpretation
- Business communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with hospitality sales CRM systems
- Ability to present professionally
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Time management skills
- Ability to handle pressure
- Must be able to work in person in Cambridge, MA
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of hotel sales experience
- 1-year food and beverage experience
- Strong understanding of negotiation and contract interpretation
- Developed business communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and hospitality sales CRM systems
- Present professional appearance and confidence
- Effective communication with public and team members
- Strong time management and ability to work under pressure
Job Duties
- Act as liaison between customers and hotel sales team during events
- Provide direction and supervision for meetings and banquet functions
- Address customer issues and suggest alternatives during events
- Manage logistics of group room blocks, food and beverage, meeting spaces, and billing
- Serve group and catering customers proactively
- Facilitate re-booking of group business for future dates
- Demonstrate upselling skills to maximize profit
