The Historic Davenport Hotel is currently seeking a creative and detail-oriented Event Planning Manager to join its esteemed team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 58,000.00 to USD 64,000.00 per year. The Event Planning Manager will play a critical role in coordinating all aspects of event planning and execution to ensure outstanding guest experiences. Acting as a liaison between customers and the hotel sales team, the manager will provide direction and supervision during meetings, banquet functions, and various events. Availability during events is crucial to address any challenges that arise and to assist with recommending alternatives and solutions. This role involves directly serving group and catering customers, managing logistics related to group room blocks, food and beverage services, public meeting spaces, and billing processes.
