The Event Planner role at Celerion is a full-time position based in Lincoln, NE, offering an opportunity for highly organized individuals who excel at creating memorable and seamless client experiences. This role is essential for coordinating both client and internal company events, ensuring that all logistics are managed efficiently across departments. The Event Planner will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of events such as client visits, departmental lunches, employee activities, training sessions, and company-wide celebrations including holiday parties and all-hands meetings. The position demands excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities in this role include tracking client visits, liaising with internal contacts and clients to coordinate all logistical elements of on-site visits, maintaining updated travel information for clients and senior leadership, and providing onsite support during meetings. The Event Planner will create and distribute detailed itineraries, coordinate conference room bookings, handle food and beverage arrangements while accommodating dietary restrictions, and arrange client transportation as necessary. Additionally, the role supports internal meetings and training sessions as well as general administrative needs, including providing back-up reception desk support when needed. This position requires someone who is a strong self-starter, capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with various teams such as Human Resources and employee event committees to deliver exceptional events that contribute to a positive company culture.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum 6 months experience in event planning or related hospitality field preferred
- 2 years customer service experience required
- proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- strong communication skills both oral and written
- excellent interpersonal skills
- ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities efficiently
- flexible availability to accommodate various event times

- self-motivated and able to work independently

Job Qualifications

- 2 years of customer service experience

Job Duties
- Track client visits appropriately
- liaise regularly with internal contacts and clients to coordinate on-site visits
- maintain travel information for clients and senior leadership
- escort clients during meetings and provide necessary items
- create and distribute client on-site itineraries
- coordinate booking and preparation of conference rooms
- order and manage delivery of food and beverages including dietary considerations
- coordinate transportation for clients to and from sites
- coordinate internal company meetings, trainings, and employee events
- support general administrative tasks including reception desk backup
- assist with senior leadership travel arrangements and company celebrations
