The organization prides itself on supporting career growth and providing opportunities to engage with high-profile projects, making it an ideal workplace for professionals looking to excel in their fields.

This role is for a temporary Event Planner position, ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. The Event Planner will be responsible for leading the comprehensive planning and execution of high-profile events designed to enhance client relationships and elevate the firm's brand presence. As an Event Planner, you will manage the entire lifecycle of each event, including researching venues, managing requests for proposals (RFPs), and collaborating closely with vendors to secure contracts and negotiate terms effectively. You will oversee all logistical aspects such as event timelines, attendee registration, travel arrangements, communications, and production components, guaranteeing a seamless experience for both clients and internal stakeholders.

Managing event budgets with accuracy and precision is a critical element of this position. You will be responsible for tracking expenses throughout the event lifecycle and conducting thorough post-event financial reconciliations. Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and business partners will be crucial to ensuring reliability and quality in all event-related services.

Collaboration within internal teams to continually improve event planning processes and enhance operational efficiency will also be a core focus, allowing the firm to deliver even higher quality client experiences. This role demands exceptional organizational skills, the ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

The working schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, based on a hybrid setup requiring three days onsite. The office location is conveniently accessible via Metro, making the commute manageable for candidates located in or around Washington, D.C.

This opportunity is perfect for an event planning professional with at least five years of experience, particularly those with a background in professional services or corporate settings. Proficiency in managing vendor relationships, contracts, hospitality, event logistics, and budget oversight are essential.
