Job Requirements
- associate's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- minimum of one year experience in event planning
- exceptional communication and customer service skills
- ability to work in an environment with adequate lighting and ventilation
- capability of lifting items up to 50 pounds
- flexibility to work extended or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to multi-task and work independently
- effective oral and written communication
- strong attention to detail
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- minimum of one year of event planning experience including coordinating logistics for in-person and/or virtual events
- exceptional communication and customer service skills
- strong attention to detail
- working knowledge of event management systems, diagramming software, and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus
- proven ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management
- ability to promote and participate in team environment
- self-starter capable of working independently on multiple tasks
- effective oral and written communication skills
- initiative in problem identification and resolution
Job Duties
- Coordinate and execute in-person, hybrid, and virtual meetings
- manage event logistics including room layouts, audiovisual needs, facility and security requests, and day-of coordination
- collaborate with team members to schedule events, support virtual platforms, and ensure technical requirements are met
- liaise with clients to determine event objectives and ensure satisfaction
- provide hands-on assistance with event setup and room-strike
- ensure timely distribution of event orders
- maintain strong client relationships and promote client satisfaction
