Job Description

The organization firmly believes in addressing economic inequality, poverty, food waste, and hunger through empowering individuals with access to business ownership that fosters generational wealth within communities. Heal The Earth values local farms as the cornerstone of a sustainable food system and follows the Revenue First model of Social Enterprise to achieve its goals. The organization recognizes the complementary roles of for-profits and nonprofits and advocates for a food system that ensures a living wage for all participants, starting with local farms.
The organization’s core values emphasize growth, learning, collaboration, nourishment, and innovation. Heal The Earth’s approach is action-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset focused on making today better than yesterday and tomorrow better than today.
About the Role
Heal The Earth is seeking a versatile and dynamic professional to lead event planning, community outreach, internal operations, and social media engagement. This multi-talented individual will cultivate and sustain relationships with donors and corporate sponsors, spearhead impactful fundraising and friendraising events, and elevate the organization's social media presence. Their role demands a balance of creativity, strategic thinking, and operational excellence within a collaborative environment.
This position offers a $65,000 salary and a hybrid work schedule following an initial onboarding period. The role supports the CEO and team by ensuring smooth daily operations, effective scheduling, and communication management. The ideal candidate will possess strong relationship-building capabilities with clients, sponsors, vendors, and internal teams to achieve seamless coordination of events that align with the organization’s mission and budget. The person will expertly handle event budgets, vendor negotiations, and cost-effective planning. Additionally, they will execute digital marketing campaigns across major platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn; develop engaging, brand-consistent content; and foster positive audience engagement.
The role also involves providing high-level administrative support to executives, managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines in fast-paced environments, and overseeing staff and volunteers as the organization scales. Detail orientation, meticulous documentation, and excellent communication skills are essential. This multifaceted position presents an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a mission-driven team while advancing professional growth in a supportive and flexible work culture.
