Job Description

Shared Services Argo and Farm Family are specialty property and casualty insurance brands whose underwriting companies are wholly-owned subsidiaries of Clearbrook Holdings Inc. These brands specialize in partnering with agents and brokers to provide tailored insurance solutions that enable businesses to manage risks with confidence. Recognized for their stable legacy and commitment to customer service, both Argo and Farm Family continue to innovate in the insurance sector, maintaining strong relationships and addressing the evolving needs of their diverse client base. Operating within Clearbrook Holdings Inc., a leading holding company in the insurance industry, the organizations focus on delivering specialty insurance products with personalized service. This foundation provides a dynamic and supportive workplace atmosphere where employees can grow and thrive.

The company is currently seeking a dedicated Event Planner to join their collaborative and supportive team. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about creating memorable experiences and excel in fast-paced environments that require balancing creativity with operational precision. As an Event Planner, you will play an essential role in bringing events to life for a wide range of stakeholders including clients, brokers, internal teams, and senior leaders. From intimate happy hours to multi-day retreats and international programs, the events you manage will span various scales and scopes, offering a diverse workload and exciting challenges.

In this position, you will have the autonomy to manage events independently while also partnering on major annual programs. Key responsibilities include overseeing logistics and operations such as sourcing venues — including conducting onsite visits for significant events — coordinating vendors, travel partners, transportation, and activities, as well as managing registration workflows and attendee communication. Your role will also involve supporting onsite execution and resolving any issues with full authority to ensure seamless event delivery.

The role focuses heavily on organization and process optimization. You will build detailed timelines, maintain task lists, and document event specifics to keep everything on track. Managing budgets by tracking expenses and invoices, supporting forecasting, and refining templates and processes for scalability will be vital to your success. Additionally, proficiency in tools like Salesforce and Pardot will be utilized to create event communications and workflows that enhance operational efficiency.

Collaboration is key in this role, and you will regularly engage with multiple departments including Marketing, Procurement, Legal, Shared Services, and senior leadership. Becoming a trusted partner across these teams is critical to maintaining alignment and ensuring that all parties remain informed and engaged throughout the event lifecycle. The team culture emphasizes open communication, mutual support, and a focus on innovation, making each year exciting as new product lines, events, and challenges emerge.

This opportunity offers significant visibility and impact, with a chance to grow within the organization and make a lasting impression through the experiences you craft. The position is based 100% on-site with salary ranges dependent on location: Chicago ($70,800 - $85,000), New York City ($77,300 - $90,000), and Richmond & Omaha ($64,300 - $85,000). Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States as the company does not sponsor employment visas. Employees will benefit from a comprehensive package including competitive compensation, performance-based incentives, health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
