T. Rowe Price is a global investment management firm known for its commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences and innovative financial solutions. With decades of industry expertise and a steadfast dedication to fiduciary responsibility, the company serves a diverse range of clients including individuals, institutions, and financial intermediaries. T. Rowe Price fosters a collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and values the contribution of each team member to drive the company's success. The firm emphasizes quality, integrity, and strategic growth, ensuring that its offerings meet the evolving needs of its clientele and maintain a competitive edge in the financial services sector.
The Event Planner role at T. Rowe Price is designed for a skilled professional to support the planning, management, and execution of events hosted by the organization in alignment with corporate standards and business objectives. This position involves contribution to the creation of client experiences through various technology platforms and engagement tools, aiming to deepen client engagement and enhance brand visibility. The Event Planner will handle moderately complex events, collaborating closely with market-facing associates and investment professionals to ensure seamless event delivery from start to finish. This role requires a proactive approach to coordinate event logistics such as contract negotiation, budget management, food and beverage requirements, and audiovisual setups. Additionally, the planner will have responsibilities that include ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines, monitoring participant engagement, and utilizing event technology platforms effectively.
The successful candidate will be integral to maintaining strong partnerships across marketing teams and other stakeholders, ensuring that all events deliver against brand initiatives and organizational goals. There is an expectation of flexibility as this position accommodates hybrid work with the possibility of working from home one day per week and includes limited local and regional travel based on event needs. T. Rowe Price values effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple prioritized tasks efficiently under tight deadlines. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and have a passion for delivering high-quality client experiences through well-executed events. While FINRA licenses are not required or supported for this role, experience in event planning, familiarity with event technology platforms such as Stova, On24, and Bizzabo, and strong cloud-based software skills are essential for success.
