As part of Clearbrook Group Holdings Inc., Argo offers a comprehensive line of products and services tailored to meet the distinctive coverage and claims-handling needs of businesses across various industries. With a reputation for excellence and innovation, Argo Group is committed to delivering specialized insurance solutions that empower businesses to manage risks with confidence. The company operates through its wholly-owned subsidiaries and maintains strong partnerships with agents and brokers to ensure optimal service delivery throughout the insurance value chain.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Event Planner to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who loves crafting memorable experiences and thrives in fast-paced environments. The Event Planner role at Argo Group is a blend of creative vision and operational expertise, focused on delivering exceptional events ranging from intimate happy hours and client meetings to multi-day retreats and international programs. This position offers real autonomy and visibility within the company, enabling the successful candidate to make a tangible impact on the organization's culture and client engagement strategies.

In this role, you will plan and execute a diverse portfolio of events, independently managing smaller and mid-sized programs while collaborating on large-scale annual events. Your responsibilities will include venue sourcing, vendor coordination, registration management, onsite event execution, and budget tracking. You will also play a vital role in driving organizational efficiency by developing timelines, templates, and processes that enhance scalability and streamline workflows. Utilizing Salesforce and Pardot, you will build event communications and automate workflows to ensure smooth attendee engagement and follow-ups.

The Event Planner will work cross-functionally with various departments including Marketing, Procurement, Legal, Shared Services, and senior leadership. This collaborative approach ensures alignment across the business and contributes to the overall success of each event. At Argo Group, the team culture is supportive and communicative, encouraging innovation and idea-sharing that make even the busiest periods manageable and fulfilling.

This position is 100% on-site and available in select locations including Chicago, New York City, Richmond, and Omaha. Compensation varies by location and candidate experience, with base salary ranges from $64,300 to $90,000. Argo Group offers a generous benefits package alongside opportunities for professional development and performance-based incentives. We are committed to equal employment opportunities and fostering an inclusive environment, honoring diversity in all forms. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, as visa sponsorships are not currently available.

If you are passionate about event planning, eager to take ownership, and excited to contribute to a team that values creativity and collaboration, Argo Group provides a fulfilling career path where you can grow and make a lasting impact. Join us and be part of a specialty insurance leader that values innovation, excellence, and memorable experiences.
