With a reputation for quality and reliability, the company specializes in the setup and maintenance of sports flooring, portable courts, and related event materials nationwide. Praters, Inc. serves a diverse clientele that requires expert handling and technical proficiency for event installations that demand precision and efficiency. Known for its commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, the company fosters a dynamic work environment that emphasizes teamwork, safety, and professional growth. Praters, Inc. supports a wide range of sporting events and other large-scale functions, ensuring each is equipped with high-quality, durable flooring and equipment that meet industry standards.
The Events Operations Technician at Praters, Inc. plays a vital role in ensuring the successful setup and breakdown of event installations including sports flooring and portable courts. This hourly, non-exempt role is hands-on and necessitates physical stamina, teamwork, and acute attention to detail. The technician will work closely with the event crew to manage logistics like loading and unloading equipment, setting up installations with a strong emphasis on safety and brand standards, and supporting event schedules. The role is based at the headquarters in Rossville, GA, but involves extensive travel—about 50 to 70 percent of the time—to various event locations across the country. The technician will occasionally assist with Spalding basketball goal installations, adding to the diversity of tasks handled. Additionally, this position requires weekend work and potential overtime, reflecting the event-driven nature of the job. The technician not only contributes to the physical setup but also acts as a company representative, embodying its mission and values at every event.
