As an Events Manager, you will serve as the principal coordinator and strategist for a diverse portfolio of events ranging from large-scale business summits to vibrant cultural celebrations. This is a temporary-to-permanent role offering a competitive hourly wage of $30 to $33, paired with a stable schedule from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime of up to 1 hour weekly.

You will manage the full lifecycle of events, overseeing everything from initial concept development to final execution and post-event follow-up. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in event management
- Ability to work first shift hours from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM
- Willingness to work up to 1 hour of overtime per week
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to travel locally as required
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Plan, coordinate, and execute a high volume of events ranging from social and educational to high-level corporate functions
- Manage on-site logistics, troubleshoot issues in real-time, and ensure local safety and security standards are met
- Negotiate vendor contracts, manage exclusive catering relationships, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to bring a vision to life
- Own the master schedule via monday.com, track KPIs and financial reporting, and manage the full lifecycle of event billing and payments
- Act as the escalation point for participant inquiries, resolving complex issues with diplomacy and a customer-first mindset
- Review incident reports to pinpoint and implement safety and security enhancements for future programming
