The position of Event Manager with Speaker Management at itD focuses on leading the final planning and flawless execution of large-scale, enterprise-level events targeting global audiences. This 100% remote role is contracted at a Fortune 500 client based in Silicon Valley and offers a W2 employment type with salary determined by experience, along with full benefits. The Event Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence and measurable success for major conferences, trade shows, and marketing events involving thousands of participants. Key responsibilities include end-to-end project management, speaker coordination, stakeholder alignment, and onsite execution support, particularly for WebexOne 2026, a flagship event scheduled in Austin, TX. Job Requirements
- Five plus years of onsite event management in enterprise markets
- Experience managing large-scale events with over 1000 attendees
- Proficiency with event management tools including Rainfocus, CVENT, and GES
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities
- Effective communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to maintain professionalism with executives and speakers
- Independent problem-solving approach
- Ability to work under pressure and lead teams
- Willingness and ability to travel for onsite event support
- Comfortable using Webex collaboration software
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Five plus years of onsite event management in enterprise markets
- Experience with event management platforms like Rainfocus, CVENT, and GES
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact with C-level executives
- Problem-solving and leadership capabilities

Job Duties

- Organize rehearsals, sessions, and deadlines
