The position of Event Manager with Speaker Management at itD focuses on leading the final planning and flawless execution of large-scale, enterprise-level events targeting global audiences. This 100% remote role is contracted at a Fortune 500 client based in Silicon Valley and offers a W2 employment type with salary determined by experience, along with full benefits. The Event Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence and measurable success for major conferences, trade shows, and marketing events involving thousands of participants. Key responsibilities include end-to-end project management, speaker coordination, stakeholder alignment, and onsite execution support, particularly for WebexOne 2026, a flagship event scheduled in Austin, TX. This role demands exceptional organizational and communication skills, deep expertise in speaker management tools like Rainfocus and CVENT, and a strong ability to build cross-functional collaboration amidst complex, multi-disciplinary teams. Candidates will demonstrate leadership and grace under pressure, capable of managing multiple workstreams while ensuring high-touch service for VIP speakers and executives. Job Requirements

  • Five plus years of onsite event management in enterprise markets
  • Experience managing large-scale events with over 1000 attendees
  • Proficiency with event management tools including Rainfocus, CVENT, and GES
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities
  • Effective communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to maintain professionalism with executives and speakers
  • Independent problem-solving approach
  • Ability to work under pressure and lead teams
  • Willingness and ability to travel for onsite event support
  • Comfortable using Webex collaboration software

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Five plus years of onsite event management in enterprise markets
  • Experience with event management platforms like Rainfocus, CVENT, and GES
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact with C-level executives

Job Duties
