The Event Manager role at itD involves leading the planning and execution of large-scale corporate conferences and experiential events in a fast-paced and 100% remote environment. This W2 position is contracted with a Fortune 500 client based in Silicon Valley, providing the selected individual with a unique opportunity to influence and deliver exceptional event experiences for leading global accounts. The Event Manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders, agency partners, production vendors, and content teams to provide flawless execution of complex events, including Cisco's WebexOne 2026 conference.

The ideal candidate should bring over five years of experience in corporate event management, excelling in conference planning, production, branding, and experiential activations. This role demands strong project management skills, the ability to juggle multiple workstreams, and the drive to maintain alignment across cross-functional teams. The Event Manager will lead key workstreams such as Speaker Management, ensuring all aspects of event branding, signage, audiovisual production, and attendee engagement are executed to the highest standards. Responsibilities also include managing speaker onboarding and logistics, coordinating with creative agencies and vendors, and supporting onsite event execution, which may involve some travel.

Beyond logistical execution, the Event Manager plays a strategic role in enhancing customer experiences through creative problem-solving and innovative event design. They will contribute to internal communities of practice, engage in thought leadership efforts, and help build materials that advance digital transformation practices within the company. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, marketing, communications, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate event planning and execution
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and stakeholders
  • Experience collaborating with creative agencies, production vendors, and suppliers
  • Strong project management and communication skills
  • Proficiency with event management tools and software
  • Willingness to travel to support onsite event execution
  • Ability to work remotely and independently
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA
  • Availability to work during WebexOne 2026 from October 3 to October 8

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Over 5 years of experience planning and executing large-scale corporate conferences or enterprise events
  • Demonstrated ability in managing cross-functional project plans and diverse stakeholders
  • Experience working with creative agencies, production companies, AV vendors, and event suppliers
  • Strong knowledge of event branding, signage production, and attendee experience design
  • Familiarity with conference content development including speaker management and agenda planning
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments with competing priorities
  • Experience managing speaker portals and event technology platforms
  • Prior experience collaborating with enterprise technology clients preferred

Job Duties

  • Lead project management of creative and design partners for event branding and signage production
  • Develop and maintain signage placement plans and attendee-facing venue maps
  • Partner with production agencies to identify audiovisual requirements and event infrastructure
  • Manage multiple conference content tracks and coordinate speaker rosters and session content
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and monitor project plans to identify risks and dependencies
  • Develop creative experiential activations and collaborate with agency partners
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, agencies, venues, and vendors
  • Support onsite event execution and issue resolution as needed
  • Manage Speaker Management Workstream including speaker onboarding, communication, and logistics
  • Coordinate travel and accommodations for speakers
  • Track progress and provide regular status updates
  • Ensure all event branding aligns with Cisco brand standards
  • Create post-event reports and thank you communications
