Job Requirements

  • BS/BA degree

  • Ability to balance multiple events and priorities
  • Experience or willingness to solicit financial sponsorships
  • Proficient use of Google Suite
  • Ability to come to Plymouth, MN office one day per week
  • Ability and willingness to travel during spring and fall seasons
  • Willingness to learn about colorectal cancer prevention and awareness
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to engage in onsite event set-up and tear-down

  • Experience with event marketing campaigns
  • Experience in nonprofit organizations
  • Familiarity with peer-to-peer registration software
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Provide white-glove level customer service and support to assigned local event directors and committees
  • Establish a cadence for communications and planning meetings
  • Act as a credible and professional representative of the organization in all touchpoints
  • Complete the event planning process of assigned events including review of historical metrics, location and date selection, securing timing companies, permit applications, and sponsor solicitation
  • Collaborate with leadership on budgets and event-specific targets
  • Manage shipment of organizational goods to events and track inventory
  • Send participant and recruitment emails through email marketing system
  • Partner with Marketing & Communications to order and request marketing materials
  • Ensure events comply with national brand standards
  • Brainstorm fundraising strategies to increase gross revenue
  • Set up and maintain online registration and race websites
  • Act as lead contact for participants and donors, troubleshooting registration and donation inquiries
