Job Description
CxRA is a premier catering company based in New York City, widely recognized for crafting bold and unforgettable events. The company prides itself on bringing every celebration to life with a unique story, emphasizing the final touches—the perfect balance of design, freshness, and exceptional service. CxRA's approach to hospitality is rooted in innovation and creativity, offering tailored event design and innovative food presentations that set the company apart in a competitive industry. Catering to a diverse clientele, CxRA thrives on delivering exquisite culinary experiences paired with impeccable event execution. Known for its commitment to quality and luxurious hospitality, CxRA is not just a catering company but a creator of memorable events that leave lasting impressions.
The role of Event Manager at CxRA offers a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to be at the forefront of event production and operational excellence. With a salary range of $75,000 to $80,000 annually, this position is designed for professionals passionate about luxury hospitality and event management who are eager to develop their careers in catering and food and beverage sales. The Event Manager will play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end operational aspects of assigned events, serving as the essential link between clients, internal teams, and on-site staff. This position is growth-oriented, offering clear career progression within a supportive team environment.
As an Event Manager at CxRA, you will own the operational and production details of each event. This includes managing setup documents, vendor coordination, staffing requests, and ensuring all client needs are meticulously addressed. You will support the event planning process by participating in client meetings and site walkthroughs, establishing yourself as the primary point of contact to facilitate seamless communication. Collaboration is key in this role, requiring you to work closely with departments handling menus, rentals, beverages, and security to ensure a flawless event delivery.
Your responsibilities will also extend to creating polished, professional documents for internal use and client presentations, such as proposals, mood boards, menus, and contracts. Attention to detail and creativity are vital, as you’ll consult with clients on various aspects of their event, from guest counts to decor and presentation style. On-site, you will be the liaison who guarantees every client’s expectations are met, coordinating efforts between the clients and the operational leads to exceed delivery standards.
This position requires adaptability and a proactive mindset, as you will work a flexible schedule to support events that often take place outside of traditional office hours. The Event Manager will also support Account Executives and may serve in their absence, further underscoring the importance of communication skills and leadership qualities. CxRA values continuous learning, encouraging its team to stay informed about industry trends and company initiatives, while contributing positively to the company culture and mission.
At CxRA, you are not only taking on a job but joining a company with a passion for excellence in luxury hospitality, where your contributions directly influence the success of events and client satisfaction. This role is ideal for those with a background in luxury catering or high-end hospitality who are ready to take on a challenging and rewarding career path with long-term growth potential within a vibrant, fast-paced environment.
