Job Requirements
- must be 18 years of age
- must have previously experience in catering, wedding or event planning, or customer service
- must have open availability for Fridays and Saturdays
- must be able to work on feet and walk Zoo grounds for several hours
- must hold a valid drivers license and be insurable by the fleet insurance carrier
- detailed oriented work schedules include weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Toledo Zoo is a drug-free workplace including marijuana
Job Qualifications
- previous experience in catering, wedding or event planning, or customer service
- strong organizational and administrative skills
- excellent communication and listening skills
- proactive problem-solving abilities
- ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- physical ability to walk the Zoo grounds and stand for extended periods
- valid drivers license and insurability
Job Duties
- coordinate client drop-offs
- oversee rehearsals
- assist with event setup
- ensure seamless communication between clients, vendors, and zoo staff
- provide exceptional customer service
- manage event logistics and timelines
- handle problem-solving during events
