Job Description

We are seeking a talented Event Designer specializing in experiential and live events to join a renowned experiential events agency based in New York. This agency has carved out a strong reputation for delivering immersive, visually compelling, and on-brand experiences across a variety of corporate events, brand activations, and large-scale immersive environments. Known for its innovative approach and dedication to detail, the company fosters a dynamic workplace where creativity meets execution, pushing boundaries to bring unique event concepts to life. Employees within this agency contribute to projects that engage audiences in meaningful and memorable ways, making the firm a leader within the experiential marketing and event design industry.

The role of Event Designer is pivotal within this fast-paced and collaborative environment. This position uniquely sits at the intersection of creative concepting and live event execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing innovative event environments that align closely with client objectives and brand identity. This includes developing creative briefs into tangible, production-ready designs that captivate audiences. The Event Designer will be deeply involved in all stages of event conceptualization — from initial ideation and design development to technical planning and on-site execution. Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Vectorworks, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Cinema 4D is critical to produce detailed layouts, floorplans, and visual presentations.

The company places a strong emphasis on storytelling through spatial design and ensuring that the guest’s journey is immersive, seamless, and memorable. Working closely with creative directors, producers, and production teams, the Event Designer plays a key role in the creative collaboration process, helping translate client briefs into innovative event experiences. Their ability to maintain strong brand consistency while pushing the design envelope will be essential.

This opportunity offers a competitive salary and benefits package reflective of the candidate’s experience and expertise. The agency values creativity, professional growth, and teamwork, providing clear progression opportunities for those who thrive in a creative and fast-moving environment. Employees can expect to work on high-profile projects that challenge and expand their creative skill set while contributing to the growing influence of the agency in the experiential event market.

Overall, this role is perfectly suited for a creative individual with a passion for live events, a strong design sensibility, and the technical skills to bring complex event concepts to life. Based in New York, this position demands a candidate who can handle multiple projects simultaneously while delivering top-tier event design solutions in a collaborative team setting.
