Reporting to the Events Coordinator, this hourly non-exempt role involves on-site work exclusively, supporting events with flexible, on-call hours ranging from zero up to 20 per week. Compensation for this role ranges from $18 to $23 per hour, depending upon prior experience. Event Crew Technicians are integral members of the technical team, responsible for various aspects of event preparation, execution, and breakdown. Duties encompass stage and room setup, lighting and sound operation, audio-visual equipment management, and customer support such as box office sales and house management. This role demands proficiency in handling technical equipment including rigging, lighting instruments, dimmers, and sound boards, alongside strong teamwork and communication skills to facilitate seamless event experiences. Additionally, technicians assist with media projection, conduct sound checks, manage cue sheets, and support hybrid classroom technology as needed.
