Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 5 years industry experience
- Proven leadership background with team management
- Strong financial management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to travel extensively including weekends
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods during events
- Ability to lift and manipulate equipment weighing at least 30 lbs
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 5 years industry experience
- Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L interpretation
- Proven people leadership experience with the ability to coach and develop teams
- Ability to drive operational strategy, process improvement, and change management
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Salesforce, Workday, and related systems
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Job Duties
- Provide direct leadership, coaching, and development to the regional operations team
- Establish clear performance expectations and hold team members accountable
- Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of team members
- Conduct performance evaluations and support career development
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative team culture
- Manage team capacity and align staffing resources with event demands
- Oversee regional event financial performance and ensure alignment with budget targets
- Review and approve event budgets, forecasts, and post-event financials
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and margin improvements
- Monitor financial trends and proactively address risks
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and reconciliation
- Provide oversight for planning and execution of all regional events
- Serve as an escalation point for complex or high-risk events
- Ensure consistency in event planning timelines, safety standards, and staffing models
- Partner with Event Coordinators to troubleshoot challenges and drive operational excellence
- Maintain accountability for event execution quality, safety, and customer experience
- Drive standardization of processes, tools, and best practices
- Leverage post-event data and feedback to implement improvements
- Support long-term operational strategy and scalability
- Lead or contribute to cross-regional efficiency initiatives
- Ensure communication of operational updates to team members and stakeholders
- Partner with leadership to align goals and execution strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams like finance, logistics, production, retail, and customer experience
- Oversee and maintain key vendor relationships
- Serve in a leadership role at events providing onsite support and coaching
