With a team of about 20 dedicated professionals, SAWOO’s mission centers on facilitating personal and professional growth among high-level executives through collaborative learning and premium networking opportunities. This is achieved by regularly organizing monthly in-person meetups, conferences, podcasts, and other community engagement activities. The company’s members include executives from prominent companies such as Mercedes, Porsche, Airbus, Amazon, and Siemens, highlighting the prestigious network SAWOO cultivates. SAWOO aspires to significantly expand its impact by welcoming two million active members into its communities by 2034, reflecting both its ambitious growth plans and commitment to fostering meaningful executive connections.
The role offered is tailored for individuals with a strong background in upscale service or hospitality who are passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences. This position focuses on supporting SAWOO’s monthly networking events hosted in fine dining restaurants in Boston’s city center. These events gather 10 to 20 high-ranking executives from various industries in a relaxed and engaging environment centered around good food and meaningful conversations. The employee will be responsible for the comprehensive management of these events, including preparation, execution, and follow-up stages. Scheduled on either Wednesday or Thursday evenings from 6:30 PM to 11:00 PM, the commitment for each event spans approximately 7 to 8 hours encompassing pre-event setup, the event itself, and post-event tasks.
The key responsibilities include preparing name tags and materials, coordinating with venue staff, welcoming and assisting attendees, managing participant lists, supporting the event host throughout the meetup, capturing event photos and videos for social media, and ensuring all agenda items are adhered to. Post-event duties involve collecting and organizing participant feedback and questionnaires, updating records based on interactions, and uploading all relevant documentation promptly. Candidates will interact with an influential and diverse group of executives, requiring professionalism, keen attention to detail, and a proactive approach to communication and problem-solving. This role offers a competitive flat rate compensation of $190 per event, with an additional $20 to cover minor expenses like travel or printing. The company expects reliable attendance and invoicing capabilities from prospective candidates. SAWOO provides a unique opportunity to develop organizational, communication, and event management skills while engaging with top decision-makers across various industries, making it an excellent fit for service professionals eager to expand their horizons in an upscale, intellectually stimulating environment.
