Key responsibilities include assisting with preparation of contracts and collecting payments, maintaining accurate event records, and supporting the catering team by documenting final event details such as guest counts, timelines, menu selections, room layouts, vendor information, and special requests. The Event Coordinator facilitates and directs rehearsals, ceremonies, and receptions, ensuring that the bride and groom receive attentive assistance throughout their special day. A hospitality mindset is essential, including the ability to foster a collaborative team environment and communicate the resort’s story with warmth and professionalism. - Work with clients to plan wedding day details
- Facilitate and direct rehearsals, ceremonies, and receptions
- Assist bride and groom with needs during the wedding day
- Run POS system accurately and efficiently
- Answer telephones, take reservations, respond to guests promptly
- Perform other duties as needed
