Job Description

Spearhead Builds LLC is a premier contractor specializing in acrylic baths, decking, and outdoor living spaces with a strong commitment to quality and structural integrity. Based in Upstate New York with service areas including Syracuse, Rochester, and Buffalo, the company prides itself on its unique "Spearhead Spec" construction standards. These standards go beyond typical building codes, ensuring each project is safe, durable, and built to last. Spearhead Builds is fast-growing and ambitious, aiming for $1 million in sales in its first year, which highlights the company’s dedication to both excellence and expansion in the home improvement sector.

The Event & Show Coordinator of Spearhead Builds LLC plays a vital role as the company’s brand ambassador during various community events, trades shows, and festivals throughout the region. This part-time, weekend-based position is pivotal in helping the company reach prospective customers, generate qualified leads, and increase revenue through active engagement at local events like home shows, town days, and county fairs. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the coordinator is expected to manage all aspects of event logistics — from scouting and registration to setup, operation, and teardown of the display booths that include structural cutaways, banners, and digital portfolios.

Beyond the logistical elements, the role demands a proactive approach to lead generation by educating attendees about Spearhead Builds’ superior construction standards and scheduling in-home consultation appointments. This position requires a unique blend of exceptional organizational skills, an outgoing and engaging personality, and sales capabilities to convert casual foot traffic into valuable business opportunities. The coordinator therefore serves as the face and voice of the company, maintaining a professional booth appearance with well-stocked marketing materials while collecting and reporting lead data performance metrics on a weekly basis.

Compensation for the Event & Show Coordinator position is performance-driven. The company offers a flat $500 event base rate per show covering all responsibilities from setup to teardown. Additional incentives include a $25 bonus for every kept appointment and a 1% sales commission on signed contracts in lieu of the lead bonus for those appointments that convert to sales. Mileage allowance is also provided for travel between the warehouse and event locations. With a clear emphasis on rewarding top performers, there is significant growth potential for the role to expand into management responsibilities and oversight of larger multi-city events as the company continues to scale.

Candidates should possess reliable transportation capable of moving booth materials or have a valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles. Physical stamina is important as the role requires lifting and moving display components such as banners, tables, and wood samples. Professionalism, punctuality, and a clean-cut appearance are required since this role represents the high-quality craftsmanship and reputation Spearhead Builds has established within the market. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys engaging with customers, and is motivated by measurable success in sales and lead generation.
