Job Description

Greystar is a premier global real estate platform headquartered in Charleston, South Carolina, renowned for its comprehensive property management, investment management, development, and construction services focused on institutional-quality rental housing. With a footprint spanning over 265 markets worldwide and managing assets exceeding $300 billion, Greystar stands as the largest operator of apartments in the United States, responsible for over one million units and beds globally. Their vast portfolio includes nearly $79 billion in assets under management, with $35 billion in development assets and $36.5 billion in regulatory assets. Founded in 1993 by Bob Faith, Greystar's mission has always been to deliver world-class service in rental residential real estate. The company's dedication to excellence is reflected in its innovative approach to community management and resident engagement.

The Lifestyle Coordinator role is a vital position within Greystar's community operations focused on enhancing resident satisfaction and retention through effective management of community programs and events. This role supports the Community Manager and Sales Consultants to smooth the move-in processes, enthusiastically welcome prospects and residents, and craft vibrant community experiences tailored specifically for the 55+ demographic. The Lifestyle Coordinator is also heavily involved in all aspects of sales and marketing efforts to promote the community, helping maintain a welcoming, engaging, and well-organized environment.

Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting residents and visitors, managing phone communications, scheduling guest suite usage, handling package deliveries, and ensuring amenities are always in pristine condition. The role also requires creativity in developing and executing innovative resident events and programs, with a clear focus on measurable outcomes and success metrics. Maintaining strong local vendor relationships and staying informed about neighborhood offerings allows the Lifestyle Coordinator to provide valuable recommendations to residents, enriching their living experience.

Communication and marketing skills are essential, as the Lifestyle Coordinator manages lifestyle-related email correspondence, produces monthly calendars, newsletters, and event flyers, and ensures Greystar's high standards for sales and marketing are consistently met. Budget input and management for resident activities are also part of the job, demanding a keen eye for expense control while maximizing community engagement.

This position offers a competitive salary with potential bonuses based on company and individual performance and comes with a robust benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, generous paid time off, 401(k) with company match, paid parental leave, and several other employee-centric perks. Full-time employees have access to extensive wellness and financial benefits as well as opportunities for sabbaticals and onsite housing discounts.

The Lifestyle Coordinator role at Greystar is not only about managing events and amenities but fostering a vibrant community atmosphere where residents feel valued and connected. This role demands energetic engagement, excellent communication, creative event planning skills, and a strong commitment to customer service, making it an ideal opportunity for those passionate about community building and real estate management within a respected global organization.
