The role available is that of General Manager (GM) of GameDay Activation & Operations, a key leadership volunteer position within Golden State Storm. This non-paid position requires a commitment of 6 to 8 hours per week during the football season, including on-site presence at Laney Stadium for three home games. The GM of GameDay Activation & Operations holds full ownership of the live fan experience during games. This includes managing all aspects of event execution on game day, such as the stadium layout for sponsor activations, pre-game entertainment setups, fan engagement zones, and youth clinics. The role demands intricate coordination of game day logistics, safety measures, and the efficient flow of thousands of fans to ensure a seamless and professional environment. The GM will also oversee the in-stadium production elements like the script and timing cues, ensuring smooth interaction and timing with the PA announcer, DJ, and halftime entertainment. The successful candidate will be a seasoned coordinator or event producer, noted for their capacity to manage complex live events, communicate effectively under pressure, and lead volunteer teams with confidence.
