This legacy of continuity and tradition makes The Norwood an iconic establishment within Western Canada’s vibrant hotel scene.
Sparrow Hotels is currently recruiting for an Evening Line Cook at The Wood Tavern, a dynamic dining concept within the Norwood Hotel. This role is ideally suited for culinary professionals passionate about delivering exceptional food experiences in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen. As an Evening Line Cook, you will be a critical part of the culinary team, responsible for preparing and cooking dishes that meet the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation. The role offers full-time employment and the opportunity to work in a supportive and innovative environment driven by shared core values.
Working at The Wood Tavern means joining a kitchen that values meticulous attention to detail, speed, and teamwork. Line Cooks play a vital role in ensuring every dish is prepared to specification and meets customer expectations. During busy dinner services, you will be expected to maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency, coordinating closely with other team members to deliver orders in a timely manner. Your adherence to food safety, sanitation, and organizational standards is paramount to maintaining the Taverns reputation for outstanding service.
This position is perfect for individuals with at least three years of experience in culinary roles within high-volume, fast-paced kitchens. A positive, hardworking attitude and strong communication skills are essential to thrive in this environment.
