This role is for a Commercial Construction Estimator located in Charlotte, North Carolina. It is a permanent position offering a competitive annual salary range of USD 85,000 to USD 100,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package. The successful candidate will play a critical part in the preconstruction team, responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for various commercial construction projects. Key responsibilities include analyzing project plans, specifications, and other documents to generate accurate estimates, collaborating with project managers and stakeholders to ensure budget alignment, sourcing and evaluating subcontractor and supplier bids, and maintaining cost databases. Additionally, the estimator will identify potential cost-saving opportunities and attend pre-bid meetings to gather project-specific information ensuring all estimates meet company standards and client requirements. This position demands a solid understanding of the construction process, strong analytical skills, and extensive knowledge of subcontractor markets in North and South Carolina. Candidates with experience in public and private bidding environments and a familiarity with the CSI MasterFormat through Division 33 are preferred.
