Job Requirements

  • Current RN licensure
  • Minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience in an Emergency Department or similar high-acuity setting
  • Strong leadership and management capabilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
  • Effective communication skills
  • Familiarity with clinical education and quality improvement processes
  • Commitment to maintaining patient safety and clinical excellence

Job Qualifications

  • Registered nurse licensure
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Previous leadership experience in an Emergency Department or acute care setting
  • Strong knowledge of trauma, stroke, cardiac, and sepsis protocols
  • Proficiency with advanced clinical technologies and virtual nursing platforms
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and nursing professionalism

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily operations of the Emergency Department nursing staff
  • Collaborate with the ED Medical Director and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care
  • Manage trauma and stroke activations along with cardiac and sepsis pathways
  • Support nursing staff through mentorship, education, and performance evaluations
  • Implement evidence-based practices and shared governance initiatives
  • Coordinate virtual nursing support and point-of-care advanced imaging workflows
  • Facilitate communication among nursing, physicians, pharmacy, case management, respiratory therapy, and social work teams
