Additionally, the role requires sweeping, scrubbing, extracting, polishing floors, and applying floor finishes. Working as an Environmental Services Technician at the VA requires physical stamina to continuously walk, stand, stoop, kneel, pull, and push, often using heavy powered cleaning equipment weighing over 50 pounds, such as wall washers and industrial buffers.
