Aramark Healthcare is actively seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Manager for the 2nd shift at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Waxahachie, TX. The Environmental Services Manager - 2nd shift role is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing the operational and safety standards of the hospital facility. This managerial position involves full ownership of the environmental services operations during the second shift, focusing on ensuring that health and safety protocols are rigorously met. The individual in this role will oversee a variety of facility services, including custodial, energy management, groundskeeping, and maintenance programs, tailored to meet client specifications and exceed expectations. Leadership is central to this position, with responsibilities to coach and develop employees towards high performance, establish and maintain strong client relationships, and manage financial aspects including budgeting, cost control, and revenue building.

This position demands a leader who can balance operational efficiency with excellent customer service, emphasizing Aramark's WEST (Workplace Excellence and Service Team) principles. The manager will conduct team meetings, monitor productivity metrics, and implement sustainable operational practices aimed at reducing energy costs and enhancing labor productivity. Job Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in healthcare environmental services
Up to 2 years of management or supervisory experience preferred
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage budgets and financial performance
Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
Proven ability to develop and lead teams
Proficient in operational and performance metrics management

Job Qualifications

Requires at least 3 years of experience in healthcare environmental services
Requires up to 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role preferred
Requires a bachelor degree or equivalent experience

Job Duties

Overall ownership and accountability of operational management and financial performance of the unit

Ensure safety and sanitation standards in all operations

Facilitate and support new business and retention activities
Develop program (facilities, custodial, energy, grounds or maintenance) to meet client and customer demands and specifications
Build revenue and manage budget which includes cost controls with regard to labor, supply, and inventory
Ensure the completion and maintenance of financial statements relative to the department
Oversight and responsibility to deliver client and company financial targets
Adopt all Aramark processes and systems, eliminate custom/manual reports
Understand performance metrics, data, order and inventory trends
educate teams on key levers to improve margins
Implement and maintain GM agenda for both labor and total quality management requirements
Create value through efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management
Ensure consistent application of Aramark’s operating standards and processes (Operational Excellence) with particular focus on efficiencies in sustainability efforts to reduce energy consumption and labor productivity standards
