The Environmental Services Worker Lead position at Aramark is a pivotal role within the Facility Services division. This role encompasses both leadership and hands-on responsibilities during event operations, ensuring that the team performs tasks efficiently and to the highest standards. The Environmental Services Worker Lead is responsible for supervising hourly employees, managing the workflow, and ensuring that all cleaning and environmental standards are met consistently throughout the facility. In this role, the Environmental Services Worker Lead acts as a key liaison between management and staff. They assist supervisors at the start and end of shifts with essential administrative tasks such as sign-in procedures and equipment management, facilitating smooth shift transitions. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years relevant experience in environmental services
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform basic math functions
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Basic understanding of infection control and universal precautions
  • Ability to work independently following training
  • Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in environmental services
  • Ability to communicate both verbal and written effectively
  • Ability to apply elementary math functions
  • Ability to work well under time constraints
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions

Job Duties

  • Assist management and supervisors at beginning and end of shift with sign-in, supplies, equipment sign out and sign in
  • Assist shift operation in the preparation and delivery of supplies necessary to help ensure all employees' needs are met
  • Perform assessment of public restrooms and on-call rooms
  • Adhere to all departmental sanitation procedures
  • Report all employee issues including safety, injuries, and disciplinary
  • Supervise all staff assignments to ensure efficient and high-quality cleaning services
  • Formulate action plans to correct inefficiencies and quality discrepancies
  • Assist in employee training, coaching, and motivation
  • Maintain an accurate record keeping system for quality control systems
  • Adhere to all established systems and training programs to provide a safe working environment
  • Comply with all OSHA regulations and other local, state, and federal government regulations
  • Maintain compliance with Aramark's standards of operation and client contract
  • Maintain all records and reports necessary to comply with Aramark, government, and accrediting agency standards, regulations, and codes
