The role of Environmental Services Worker at CharterCARE of Rhode Island is a critical position responsible for ensuring that hospital departments remain in a neat, orderly, and sanitary condition. Under the supervision of the Environmental Services Supervisor, the employee performs a variety of essential housekeeping duties including moving furniture, equipment, and supplies throughout hospital departments. This part-time regular position offers a schedule from 2:00 pm to 11:30 pm and requires working 40 to 63 hours per pay period. The successful candidate will be expected to work efficiently within established procedures to maintain the healthcare facility's highest cleanliness and safety standards. This role demands physical endurance and careful attention to detail, as well as the ability to handle specialized cleaning equipment and products safely. The Environmental Services Worker at CharterCARE contributes directly to the hospital’s mission by creating a clean environment that supports healing and reduces the risk of infection, thus enhancing the overall experience for patients and staff.
