We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Site Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Program Leader to join our team. This is a full-time role focused on establishing and promoting a culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and regulatory compliance within our site operations. The successful candidate will lead and manage multiple regulatory and corporate EHS programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as internal standards. The Site EHS Program Leader will drive the development and execution of comprehensive strategies aimed at risk reduction, injury prevention, and continuous improvement of safety and environmental performance.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 6 years of leadership experience in Environmental Health and Safety programs or 10 years with high school diploma GED equivalent
- Familiarity with federal state and local EHS regulations and standards
- Proven project and program management expertise
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools for data analysis and reporting
- Ability to lead a diverse team and collaborate cross-functionally
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Willingness to undergo drug screening

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in EHS Environmental Compliance Industrial Hygiene or related technical discipline plus 6 years experience leading Environmental Health and Safety programs
- High School diploma GED equivalent plus 10 years experience leading Environmental Health and Safety programs
- Regulatory knowledge and experience working under federal and state and or equivalent regulations such as CERCLA RCRA OSHA TSCA ISRA
- Compliance experience with federal and state EHS regulations including UDEQ OSHA NRC codes
- Proven project and program management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook
- Professional certifications such as ASP CSP CIH OHST preferred
- Experience leading multiple EHS programs and owners across all leadership levels
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adjust to changing priorities
Job Duties
- Lead and manage the site EHS function providing direction coaching and accountability for the EHS team
- Own and drive key EHS metrics including setting targets monitoring trends and implementing corrective and preventive actions
- Ensure all regulatory and corporate EHS programs are effectively implemented maintained and audited
- Maintain key environmental compliance and green initiatives across the site
- Lead and coordinate multiple EHS programs across diverse functions ensuring consistency and effectiveness
- Provide oversight guidance and development for EHS staff and assigned personnel responsible for program areas
- Implement strategies for continual risk reduction with focus on high-risk safety and environmental programs
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to integrate EHS principles into daily operations capital projects and process improvements
- Interface with senior leadership and corporate EHS leaders to deliver clear data-driven updates on EHS performance risks and initiatives
- Drive a culture of safety ownership and accountability at all levels through engagement communication and leadership presence
