Job Description

Our company operates a reputable automotive service center located in Worcester, MA, dedicated to providing exceptional vehicle maintenance and customer care. Positioned at 39 W Boylston St, our service center is part of a broader network committed to delivering trusted automotive services with the highest standards of professionalism and quality. As a well-established entity in the vehicle care industry, we emphasize a strong customer-focus, technical expertise, and a supportive work environment that fosters growth and development for all employees.

We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Entry-Level Vehicle Service Specialists or Lube Technicians. This role offers a unique opportunity for those interested in hands-on work, learning automotive maintenance from the ground up, and building a long-term career in the automotive service industry. Whether you are a recent graduate, someone changing careers, a veteran transitioning to civilian life, or simply starting out, our program provides paid on-the-job training ensuring no previous automotive experience is necessary. Candidates will benefit from a structured career path, clear advancement timeline, and a workplace culture that values learning, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.

As an Entry-Level Vehicle Service Specialist, you will be performing essential maintenance tasks under the guidance of experienced technicians. Your daily responsibilities will include changing oil and replacing filters, checking and refilling vehicle fluids, rotating tires, testing and replacing batteries, inspecting and replacing lights and wipers, and conducting multi-point safety checks. Customer service is an important aspect of the role, and you will be delivering friendly, fast, and trusted service to all customers who visit our center. Compensation starts at $18.50 per hour with the added benefit of daily pay options, contributing to a stable and reliable income.

Our service center prioritizes a balanced work schedule with no late evenings, as most locations close by 7 pm. This is ideal for individuals seeking work-life balance while pursuing a hands-on automotive career. Additionally, we offer a range of benefits designed to support the health and well-being of our employees. These include medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan with company match, paid time off and holidays, company-provided uniforms, tools, and safety equipment, as well as employee discounts on automotive services.

Career progression is a key focus within our company. Many managers have begun their careers in this very position and advanced into leadership roles within 12 to 18 months based on performance. We provide clear pathways for growth from Lube Technician to Senior Technician, Assistant Manager, and eventually Service Center Manager. Our comprehensive training ensures our team members gain essential skills and automotive knowledge, empowering them to excel and thrive in their careers.

The role requires a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment, reliable transportation, and basic computer literacy. Being comfortable with manual labor and standing for long periods is necessary, as well as the capability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. If you are enthusiastic about helping people, eager to learn, and ready to develop meaningful skills in automotive service, this position offers an excellent opportunity.
