This specific role is an entry-level driver training position designed for individuals looking to begin their career in the transportation and logistics industry. Offering a starting pay of $20.00 per hour with a Monday to Friday schedule from 6am to 3pm (with some flexibility required), this role provides the invaluable opportunity to develop the skills necessary to safely operate tractor trailers or straight trucks for intrastate and interstate deliveries. The Driver Trainee will be trained extensively through the PFG Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program, learning under the close supervision of a driver trainer and gaining hands-on experience in transporting food and food-related products safely and efficiently.

As part of this role, the driver trainee will perform essential duties including conducting pre- and post-trip safety inspections, adhering strictly to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies, securing freight properly, and interacting professionally with customers, vendors, and team members.
