Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Valid CDL A Permit
- Must be 21 years of age
- Pass post offer drug test
- Pass road test
- Clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate, and other equipment to move and/or stack product cases or freight
- Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements where applicable
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Internal PFG candidates must have 1 year of service in good standing and be able to attain CDL Permit and DOT Health Card
- External driver school direct hire with 0-6 months experience with a CDL Permit
- External entry level hire with 0-6 months experience with a CDL Permit
- Valid CDL A Permit
- Must be 21 years of age
- Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements where applicable
- Clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- Pass post offer drug test
- Pass road test
- Attain or have valid current DOT Health Card
- Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate, and other equipment to move and/or stack product cases or freight of varying size and weight throughout shift
Job Duties
- Attend and successfully complete PFG entry level driver trainee or dock to driver training program
- Ride with and assist driver trainer in executing deliveries
- Perform all required safety checks including pre and post trip inspections of tractor truck and trailer
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
- Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight and perform count check of items
- Drive to and deliver customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule
- Unload products, transport items into designated customer storage areas, verify delivery and obtain signatures
