Shamrock Foods Company is a renowned, privately-held, family-owned, and operated company that has been a leader in the food industry since its founding in Arizona in 1922. As a Forbes 500 company, Shamrock Foods is dedicated to innovation, quality, and exceptional service. The company has built a reputation by placing people first—its associates, customers, and the families they serve across the nation. Shamrock Foods believes that treating associates like family and customers like friends forms the heart of its mission and daily operations.
Shamrock Foods offers a supportive work environment, fostering growth and continued education while providing comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, 401(k) savings plans, profit sharing, paid time off, and wellness programs. This corporate culture and commitment to associates define Shamrock Foods as an employer of choice in the foodservice and manufacturing industry.
The role of Executive Chef at Shamrock Foods Company is a critical leadership position within the corporate culinary operations. The Executive Chef is responsible for leading and managing the planning, preparation, and execution of high-quality meals tailored for corporate staff, executive meetings, and various company events. Beyond day-to-day kitchen management, this position acts as a culinary ambassador for the organization, collaborating closely with internal teams such as Sales, Marketing, and Product Category groups to align culinary concepts with broader business objectives. The Executive Chef also develops innovative, trend-forward menus and recipes that showcase the company’s products effectively.
This role requires oversight of all kitchen operations including inventory management, food cost control, and equipment maintenance, ensuring strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards. The Executive Chef will execute culinary programs for executive meetings and special events, deliver live and virtual cooking demonstrations, and customize culinary solutions based on customer insights and market trends. Building strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners is essential to maintain a high level of service and business growth.
Successful candidates will have substantial culinary expertise with progressive leadership experience, preferably with a culinary degree or equivalent training. The position demands excellent presentation and communication skills, professionalism in executive environments, and the physical ability to manage extended standing periods and lifting duties. Occasional travel is required to support customer visits, trade shows, and strategic events. This role provides a unique opportunity for culinary professionals to lead innovative food programs within a respected and growth-oriented company.
