Job Description

Leidos is a global industry and technology leader providing innovative digital and mission solutions to government and commercial clients. Headquartered in Reston, Virginia, and employing over 47,000 professionals worldwide, Leidos reported annual revenues of approximately $16.7 billion for the fiscal year ending January 3, 2025. Leidos prides itself on delivering smarter, more efficient IT services that empower its partners and contribute positively to the community. The company's dedication to integrity, innovation, and impactful work creates a dynamic environment where every employee can make a meaningful difference. Given this strong foundation, Leidos continues to attract top talent committed to excellence and delivering value to clients and communities alike.

Leidos Digital Enterprise Health division is currently seeking a highly experienced Endpoint Engineering and Collaboration Services Manager to join its team supporting a major IT services program for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in Rockville, Maryland. This role is a critical enterprise end-user technology leadership position that focuses on endpoint and collaboration service engineering within a federal regulated environment. Unlike roles centered on software development, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps, this position requires expertise in managing engineering teams responsible for technologies such as Microsoft 365 services, Entra ID/ICAM integrations, Intune for mobile device management, JAMF for macOS endpoint management, Windows engineering, along with iOS and Android mobility platforms. The Endpoint Engineering and Collaboration Services Manager also oversees collaboration tools including Teams, Webex, Slack, unified communications (UC)/video teleconferencing (VTC) services, and Tier 3 engineering support.

The successful candidate will be responsible for directing multiple engineering teams responsible for enterprise-wide endpoint and collaboration services. Key functions include setting and maintaining technical standards, developing engineering roadmaps, prioritizing backlogs, planning resources, managing risks, and ensuring operational readiness. Collaboration with stakeholders at various levels, including federal customers, security teams, and cross-functional engineering departments, will be essential. The role mandates ensuring compliance with federal cybersecurity requirements, SLAs, change management processes, and operational procedures, which are vital in supporting the HHS mission and related modernization initiatives.

Candidates must be available locally to provide onsite support one to two days per week in either Rockville, MD, or Washington, DC. U.S. citizenship or applicable residency status is required along with proof of a current Public Trust Level 4 clearance or equivalent. The salary range for this position is approximately $131,300 to $237,350 annually, reflecting the seniority and scope of responsibilities involved.

Leidos offers a rewarding work environment that values technical innovation, leadership development, and service excellence. The Endpoint Engineering and Collaboration Services Manager role is integral to advancing the technological capabilities of federal health services, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient end-user computing and collaboration systems. Joining Leidos means being part of a mission-driven organization that values disruptors and innovators who challenge the status quo and propel technology forward at a faster pace than the industry standard. If you possess a passion for leading skilled engineering teams to deliver enterprise technology solutions within regulated environments and want your work to impact vital public health initiatives, this opportunity at Leidos is designed for you.
