  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • banquet server/buffet and bartending experience preferred
  • TABC certified required
  • food handler's certification required

Job Duties

  • Set up banquet room as instructed by Banquet Captain to include linen, service ware and glassware, and set up back of the house supplies for banquet event
  • attend pre-shift meetings to learn function particulars, for example: knowing the event menu, guests that we are servicing and hotel expectations
  • greet and introduce yourself to guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner
  • serve food and/or beverage in the order sequence and to the expectation of the banquet Captain to ensure consistency throughout the banquet
  • promptly bus dishes as guests complete each course and/or meal and at the end of the meal/function
  • buffet and bartending set up and service may be required as well
  • replenish beverages as necessary and check with guests for overall satisfaction
  • once banquet is complete, clean up and/or reset banquet room according to Banquet Captain's specifications, endure the readiness of the room for the following function
