This job opportunity is for a Desktop Support Specialist to join the CSA team onsite in Jacksonville, FL. This role specializes in providing technical support within electronic classrooms, ensuring that the student training infrastructure remains fully operational and available to meet the high standards set by the organization. A professional in this role will work with various technical systems, including Active Directory account configurations, network performance management, and enterprise network management. The successful candidate will play a critical role by monitoring system performance, identifying problem areas, and turning technical metrics into actionable information to improve mission-critical networks. The position requires daily interaction with users and administrators to troubleshoot issues and maintain operational readiness for student training systems. Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills are essential to help CSA maintain its high standard of service and technical support excellence.

Job Requirements

  • Must possess interim or an active secret clearance
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of relevant experience
  • Experience with electronic documentation, system administration, network administration, database administration
  • Security+ certification or equivalent bachelor's degree
  • Experience with connectivity, interoperability, operational readiness, and security and compliance systems maintenance
  • Experience with systems hardware and software administration and integration
  • Experience with routine maintenance including break and fix, backup and recovery, and inventory and asset management

  • Experience with workstation and server hardware installation, maintenance, board replacement, and cable switching
  • Experience with system monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of system development, software maintenance, and ancillary functions
  • Knowledge of cyber defense compliance and accreditation services
  • Ability to perform onsite service center support
  • Bachelor's degree

Job Duties

  • Ensure student training infrastructure is functional and available
