This exceptional opportunity is for an experienced Electrical Superintendent I within Mortenson’s Power Delivery Group. This role will involve managing electrical installation projects that include underground cabling, overhead lines, substation construction, and connecting power grids to existing distribution systems. The Electrical Superintendent I will coordinate and supervise assistant superintendents, contractors, and craft personnel, ensuring that skilled workmanship and project standards are upheld. The position requires a flexible and resourceful leader with strong capabilities in planning, coordination, safety enforcement, and quality control. The successful candidate will have the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, interacting with various stakeholders ranging from field teams to union representatives and customers.

The base salary for this position ranges from $125,600 to $188,400, with actual compensation varying based on experience, skills, and location, including adjustments for certain offices like Denver, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, and Washington, D.C. This role is full-time and eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan. The work schedule involves significant travel, up to 100%, and requires a current driver’s license. Note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position, so candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Key responsibilities for this role include reviewing drawings and submittals with engineering teams, supervising installation of electrical systems, maintaining quality standards, ensuring workplace safety with active participation in the Zero Injury Program, and mentoring field personnel and assistant superintendents. This is a pivotal role that helps drive Mortenson’s Power Delivery projects to successful completion by delivering excellent technical oversight and fostering strong working relationships on site.
