The role of EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) Specialist at Badger Meter offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the safety and wellbeing of the workforce at the Racine manufacturing facility. This is a full-time position where the specialist acts as an on-site safety leader, partnering directly with employees, supervisors, and leadership to cultivate a stronger safety culture. The role demands ownership of meaningful safety initiatives, influencing change across multiple manufacturing processes, and shaping the future of EHS at the facility. The EHS Specialist is responsible for leading job safety analyses, improving lockout/tagout procedures, coaching teams, and driving continuous improvements in safety practices. This position suits an individual who enjoys being actively present on the manufacturing floor, solving safety and environmental challenges, building strong relationships, and making a tangible difference that improves employee safety and operational performance.
