The Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS) Program and Compliance Assurance Leader, Americas plays a crucial role in supporting the company's commitment to safety and regulatory compliance. This leadership position focuses on managing and tracking the implementation of EHS programs, including Process Safety Management (PSM), across locations in the Americas. The role is responsible for providing strategic and tactical direction, technical support, and ensuring adherence to internal and external safety standards and regulations such as OSHA, EPA, and DOT. With up to 50% travel, this role also involves collaboration with multiple stakeholders including plant personnel, leadership teams, and external consultants to enhance process safety and environmental compliance.

In addition to overseeing compliance assurance activities like audits and corrective action tracking, the EHS leader drives the development of a strong safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives across the region. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in EHS management within manufacturing, sound knowledge of environmental laws, and expertise in process safety. They demonstrate an ability to teach, coach, and lead teams while employing data-driven methodologies such as Six Sigma and lean tools to improve safety performance.
