Jeff's Bagel Run is a vibrant and rapidly growing bakery established in 2019, originating from our founder Jeff's home kitchen. With dedication to fresh baking, community building, and spreading joy through quality products, we have successfully expanded to 30 locations and are excited to bring our scratch-made bagels to Gainesville this summer. As a bakery, we pride ourselves on maintaining a friendly and lively atmosphere where all team members work together to deliver an exceptional experience to the Gator Nation and beyond. We are currently seeking early morning risers eager to join our team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This role is perfect for those who thrive in a hands-on, energetic setting and are motivated by creating delicious products from scratch. Our workday begins bright and early, typically between 4:00 am and 4:30 am, running until 2 pm, allowing team members to enjoy their afternoons post-shift. The position offers both full-time and part-time employment opportunities, with schedules ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week, including weekends.

As a Bagel Baker at Jeff's Bagel Run, you will learn and execute our unique baking procedures and recipes, ensuring consistent product quality and exceptional customer satisfaction. Duties include prepping and baking bagels, making dough mixtures timely and accurately, proofing, shaping, kneading, and operating machinery to support the dough process. Cleanliness and sanitation are paramount; you will maintain a safe, organized workspace by following established protocols for cleaning, disinfecting, and equipment maintenance.

Physical stamina is important, as working in a hot, compact kitchen space requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform all tasks efficiently under pressure. The role may additionally involve cream cheese scooping, vegetable chopping, cookie baking, dishwashing, general cleaning, and assisting front-of-house operations when needed. A strong sense of teamwork and pride in delivering high-quality products day in and day out is essential.
