The current opportunity is based at the Courtyard Austin Downtown, located at 300 E 4th Street, Austin, TX, a prime location in the heart of Austin’s vibrant downtown district. The role being offered is for a Housekeeping Manager position. This is a pivotal role within the hotel, responsible for overseeing all aspects of housekeeping operations including guest rooms, public areas, laundry services, and team member spaces. The Housekeeping Manager plays a key leadership role, ensuring that the hotel maintains the highest levels of cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation to meet brand standards and exceed guest expectations.

The Housekeeping Manager will lead and mentor the entire housekeeping team, fostering a positive work environment that motivates team members to deliver outstanding service. Hiring, training, and performance management fall under the purview of this role, along with implementing operational processes that optimize labor productivity, control expenses, and improve the hotel’s financial performance. This position requires someone with strong financial acumen, capable of managing budgets and payroll with an eye for cost controls. Job Duties

  • Oversee all housekeeping operations including guest rooms public areas laundry and team member spaces ensuring the highest cleanliness standards
  • Lead mentor and develop the housekeeping team including hiring training and performance management
  • Implement and maintain efficient operational processes to control expenses manage labor productivity and optimize financial performance
  • Conduct regular inspections to uphold brand and White Lodging standards ensuring compliance with cleanliness safety and sustainability guidelines
  • Respond to guest concerns and operational challenges proactively resolving issues to enhance satisfaction
