The role of Driver - Culinary Services at UW Health encompasses much more than just transportation. Working with early morning shifts starting at 5:00 am, Monday through Friday, the driver ensures the timely and safe delivery of fresh-baked pastries and breads to multiple UW Health locations in Madison, Wisconsin. This position combines the responsibilities of driving with a commitment to supporting patient and employee satisfaction by facilitating the distribution of high-quality culinary products. The driver also works closely with inventory management systems and handles daily requisitions, maintaining accurate records of food deliveries. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a multi-location delivery environment preferred
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license
- Serv Safe certification
- Ability to work early morning shifts Monday through Friday
- Willingness to work some holiday hours
- Reliable transportation skills
