We're seeking a dedicated Driver for Culinary Services to join this outstanding healthcare community. This is a full-time, day-shift position where you will begin early, with shifts starting at 5:00 am from Monday through Friday, primarily working at University Hospital and traveling between various UW Health locations in Madison. Occasional holiday hours may be required. The role is integral to the smooth operation of culinary services by ensuring the transport of fresh-baked pastries and breads between multiple health care sites. You will combine your driving talent with a meaningful purpose by contributing to the well-being of patients and staff through timely delivery of food items. In addition to transportation duties, you will be responsible for inventory management tasks, including producing daily requisitions, which support the efficient workflow of culinary operations. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in multi-location delivery preferred
- Valid Wisconsin Driver's License required
- Ability to work early morning shifts Monday through Friday
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Ability to lift and carry loaded trays
- Must comply with UW Health safety and hygiene policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in delivery to multiple locations preferred
- Valid Wisconsin Driver's License required
- Serv Safe Certification preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work early morning shifts
- Effective communication skills
Job Duties
- Transport fresh-baked pastries and breads between several UW Health locations
