Job Description

The Parking Spot is a well-established company with more than 25 years in business, recognized as the largest near-airport parking company in the United States. With over 2,000 valued team members across more than 40 locations nationwide, The Parking Spot prides itself on delivering exceptional service to its customers by fostering a culture of employee ownership. This Employee Ownership Program provides every team member with a direct financial stake in the company’s success, making all employees active participants in the growth and operations of the business. As an employee-owned company, The Parking Spot emphasizes teamwork, customer service, and operational excellence to maintain its leadership position in the parking and transportation industry.

The Shuttle Driver (Non-CDL) role is an integral part of The Parking Spot’s frontline operations. Shuttle Drivers are responsible for safely and courteously transporting customers between the parking facilities and the airport terminals. This position involves operating shuttle vehicles with a capacity of up to 15 passengers, adhering to safe driving practices, and providing outstanding customer service. Not only do Shuttle Drivers ensure passengers reach their destinations safely and on time, but they also contribute to creating a positive customer experience through friendly greetings, luggage assistance, and knowledgeable service about the facilities and airport terminals.

This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $13, supplemented by tips received through cash and mobile payments, with regular bonus opportunities available. The role is available across all shifts and includes an on-call component, providing flexibility in scheduling. Eligible employees can also participate in comprehensive benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision coverage, and a 401(k) retirement plan. Additional perks such as paid time off, vacation pay, paid holidays, and professional development opportunities further enhance the employment package at The Parking Spot.

Shuttle Drivers undergo thorough training and may cross-train for other frontline positions, allowing for growth and versatility within the company. Safety is paramount, and drivers are required to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and comply with all applicable regulations regarding commercial vehicle operation. The company seeks individuals who are at least 21 years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and have a satisfactory driving record. While previous driving or customer service experience is preferred, new candidates who demonstrate a commitment to safety and customer service are also encouraged to apply.

The Parking Spot also prides itself on fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment where every employee is respected and valued. The company stands firmly against racism and discrimination, actively cultivating diverse teams and intentionally promoting equal opportunity. Employees are supported in an environment where all voices are heard, reinforcing the company’s commitment to dignity, respect, and continuous growth.

Joining The Parking Spot as a Shuttle Driver means becoming part of a dedicated team that values safety, service, and shared success. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with the public, take pride in providing exceptional customer care, and seek opportunities for professional development within a thriving, employee-owned enterprise.
