We are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team. This leadership role involves working closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to ensure that our guests enjoy superior dining experiences that reflect the high standards of the Hilton brand. As the Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of food and beverage service operations, facilitating excellent communication among staff, and supporting the team to thrive. Your responsibilities will include monitoring food quality and presentation to ensure that every meal served is both delicious and visually appealing, addressing guest feedback promptly to maintain satisfaction and handle any concerns professionally.
This position demands a leader who can inspire their team through example and active collaboration. You will be instrumental in fostering a positive workplace culture by encouraging open communication, driving teamwork, and sharing insights during team meetings to keep staff informed and motivated. Furthermore, you will be charged with managing daily operational tasks such as cost control, accurate cash handling, staff scheduling, and inventory management, utilizing technology to optimize efficiency and streamline processes. Your creativity and initiative will also be crucial in developing innovative promotional campaigns to attract more guests and boost the food and beverage sales.
In addition to operational duties, you will support training and performance initiatives aimed at professional growth and enhancing the overall business success of the department. This role requires strong multitasking ability, excellent communication, effective problem-solving skills, and calm composure under pressure. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- at least one year of progressive experience in hotels or related fields
- supervisory experience preferred
- strong communication and problem-solving skills
- ability to multitask and maintain composure under pressure
- demonstrated initiative and effective listening and understanding skills
- competence in interpreting financial data and performing basic arithmetic
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- college coursework in hospitality is a plus
- at least one year of progressive experience in hotels or related fields
- supervisory experience preferred
- strong communication and problem-solving skills
- ability to multitask and maintain composure under pressure
- demonstrated initiative and effective listening, understanding, and clarification abilities
- competence in interpreting financial data and performing basic arithmetic
