Inn The Doghouse is currently seeking a full-time Receptionist to join their dynamic team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for motivated individuals looking to break into the animal care industry or those who already enjoy working in fast-paced, service-oriented environments. Receptionists at Inn The Doghouse are the first point of contact for clients and their pets, responsible for greeting and engaging customers during check-in, facilitating the transition of pets into daycare, boarding, or grooming, and providing excellent customer service while clearly communicating policies and procedures. The ideal candidate is compassionate and empathetic, demonstrating a natural love and respect for dogs and cats. They are self-motivated, hardworking, and open to feedback, thriving in a team-oriented environment where multitasking and attention to detail are essential.
In addition to managing front desk activities such as scheduling, handling calls, and managing payments, the receptionist also plays a vital role in enhancing client satisfaction through tours of the facility, managing social media updates, and coordinating with veterinary hospitals when medical records are required. The job involves maintaining a clean and organized workspace and lobby and participating in upselling services, accommodations, and products. Candidates should be comfortable handling animals weighing up to 150 pounds and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, as well as standing, walking, and bending for extended shifts. With shifts typically scheduled between 7 am and 7 pm Monday through Friday, and occasional weekend shifts, this position offers a vibrant and supportive workplace where team members are encouraged to grow and excel.

Job Duties
